TEXAS LAW ENFORCEMENT ASSOCIATION PAC (TLEA PAC)

Advocating for Equal Standards, Equal Service, Equal Respect

Mission

The Texas Law Enforcement Association PAC (TLEA PAC) supports candidates and policies that recognize every TCOLE-licensed peace officer and seeks to end discrimination based on pay status or employment classification. TLEA PAC gives peace officers across Texas a unified, professional voice in legislative policy ensuring that equality, local control, and common sense guide the future of law enforcement in our state.

Priorities

  • End pay-status distinctions in peace officer appointments.
  • Affirm full authority for properly commissioned Peace Officers.
  • Preserve training access and professional progression for all Peace Officers
  • Modernize outdated “reserve” terminology when misapplied to licensed peace officers.
  • Protect local control and oppose legislation that divides the profession.

How Funds Will Be Used

  • Support candidates who align with TLEA’s priorities and values.
  • Conduct public education and policy outreach about issues affecting Texas peace officers.
  • Cover regulatory compliance, reporting, and grassroots engagement activities.

Every dollar supports advocacy, education, and representation for peace officers across Texas.
